We run a TJ4000 X3 Waterjet in our shop.
A waterjet can cut intricate and complex shapes out of almost any material (see chart below). It is also faster than many other common cutting tools. Because it does not use heat to cut, we are able to avoid material warping such as burning, melting, or cracking that happens when using alternative cutting methods. The waterjet is also a good solution for projects that require cutting of complex shapes, or when you have uneven surfaces. And because of it’s high cutting quality, additional finishing processes can often be avoided.
Innotech’s TJ4000 X3 Waterjet has a max cutting speed of 700 IPM (inches per minute) and can cut material up to 8″ thick. We are currently able to cut material with a dimension of 6ft x 12ft.
An example of how quickly and efficiently our waterjet can cut. This was a piece of 3/16 stainless steel, cut out in just over 3 minutes.
We also have a CNC Router for in house cutting needs. Check it out here.
