At our vibrant campus, conveniently located in the heart of Bellingham about 90 miles north of Seattle, and 60 miles south of Vancouver, BC we educate a diverse population of over 8,000 students in more than thirty associate degree and fifty certificate programs.
BTC students prepare for careers in many fields, from advanced manufacturing to accounting; process technology to pastry; registered nursing to radiologic technology.
Northwest Career and Technical Academy is an affiliate of several Northwest Washington school districts. We provide free technical and professional training for high-school-age students. Our robust course catalog offers students the opportunity to participate in experience-based hands-on learning as they earn high school credits, college credits, and industry-specific certifications.
For our region, the NWESD provides a centralized point for the set of services and information relevant to K-12 education in Washington. Through the aggregation and pooling of services, administrative overhead costs are minimized. The result of this centralized approach is highly efficient and cost-effective services for our NWESD partner school districts.
CCNW is one of nine regional career connected learning networks under the larger Career Connect Washington (CCW) organization. CCNW is hosted at the Northwest Educational Service District 189 (NWESD) and includes leadership from Snohomish STEM as well as collaboration with regional workforce and educational organizations. By working together, the CCNW Network is a catalyst for industry, education, and community partners to collectively meet the career development needs of Northwest Washington’s youth in an equitable and accessible way.
Greg joined the team in Jan 2022 and is tasked with steering marketing and business development. His diverse sales and marketing background features a range of products and services, including years of experience in the custom metal fabrication and food industries. He is excited to share industry and career information with students of all ages and backgrounds.
Tim founded Innotech in 2012 after 15 years working in the process equipment industry. Innotech has grown substantially since that time while maintaining focus on manufacturing top-quality equipment and delivering stellar customer service and support.
The automation team is led by Roger Hutchison, PE. Roger holds a Professional Engineer’s license (Electrical) for the state of Michigan and has decades of automation experience in the automotive industry and food processing. He uses this experience to design control systems that use the best practices and features implemented across industry.
Trevor came to Innotech in 2015 and has completed many projects since then, ranging from simple conveyors to complex processing equipment.
In supervising the development of control logic and operator interfaces he ensures that systems are safe, reliable, maintainable, and user friendly for machine operators.
Tim brings over 20 years of shop management experience to Innotech. His dedication and professionalism are reflected in the quality workmanship for which we are known.
